Andreas Pollner (46 years old) holds a Masters Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Witten/Herdecke, Germany and the Universidad de Concepcion, Chile. He completed a dual education for a banking degree with Bayerische Landesbank, Munich.

After receiving his Masters’ Degree, worked as an Investment Manager for the German Investment and Development Corporation, Cologne, leading corporate and project finance engagements in developing countries.

He entered the pharmaceutical sector with Schering AG, Berlin as part of a leadership trainee program. His first assignment abroad with Schering was in the US for six months. Since then, he has gathered broad experience in the pharma market with Bayer Pharma in Business Coordination, Portfolio management as well as Business Unit Head in Russia and project assignments for various European markets. As part of Bayer’s innovation path, he was leading a strategic, cross-divisional initiative to explore digital health and services in “Heart Health”. Prior to his assignment in Greece, he was heading the regional marketing operations for the Therapeutic Area Cardio-Vascular for Region EMEA. He joined Bayer Hellas as Managing Director and Cluster CDH for Pharma in Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Romania by August 1st 2019.
