Born in Athens in 1975, Lydia Garyfallou is married and has two children.

Since July, 2025 has served as Managing Director of BASF Hellas SA.

With over 25 years of experience in the chemicals industry, Lydia Garyfallou brings a wealth of expertise in business development, commercial leadership, and sustainable solutions to the Greek market.

A graduate in Management and Organizational Behavior, with an MBA specializing in Business Process Re-engineering from the University of Leicester, Lydia Garyfallou has held a variety of European sales and leadership roles, consistently driving client success and business growth.

In her new role, will lead BASF Hellas S.A.’s commercial teams, focusing on delivering innovative and sustainable solutions tailored to the needs of Greek industry. Her vision is to support sustainable growth, foster bilateral business relations, and advance the chemical and manufacturing sectors in Greece.

Beyond her executive responsibilities, Lydia Garyfallou is an active member of the business community, serving on the boards of the German-Greek Chamber of Commerce (AHK Greece), the Hellenic Association of Chemical Industries (HACI), the Modern Building Alliance Hellas, the Association of Hellenic Plastic Industries (AHPI), and the Federation of Industries of Greece (SBE).
