IDE demonstrates Advanced Hybrid Tactical Power Capabilities
in major NATO Exercises
Koropi, February 25th, 2026: INTRACOM DEFENSE (IDE) successfully deployed its next-generation Hybrid Electric Power Systems (HEPS®) product family during the major NATO exercises LOYAL DOLOS 2025 in Assiros, Greece, and STEADFAST DART 2026, in Trauen, Germany, supporting NATO’s Rapid Deployable Corps Greece (NRDC-GR) and Italy (NRDC-ITA).
During these high-intensity, multi-domain exercises, IDE’s HST25K Generator Hybridization System (GHS) enabled the rapid establishment of modular tactical microgrids through the seamless integration of existing conventional generators. The system operated under realistic and challenging expeditionary conditions, addressing heterogeneous power demands, while enhancing overall operational effectiveness.
As presented by IDE in Combat Engineer & Logistics 2026 Conference in Krakow, Poland, the hybrid energy architecture demonstrates measurable and mission-critical performance improvements in mission autonomy, fuel efficiency, energy resilience and logistical support, while substantially reducing thermal and acoustic signatures to enhance force protection.
These outcomes reinforce the critical role of advanced energy solutions in modern military operations and align with NATO’s recognition of operational energy as a key enabler of readiness, command and control, mobility, protection and sustainment.
