Ricardo Castanho has been Head of Market Entry and Business Development Services at AHK São Paulo since the beginning of 2012. After studying international relations, he joined the Chamber as a trainee in 2008. He held various positions in the chamber network itself, including in 2010 as Deputy Managing Director of the Mercosur Project Office of the Alliance of German Chambers in Mercosur, in Frankfurt am Main.
His many years of experience make him a competent contact for Brazilian companies in matters relating to business in Europe and Germany on the one hand and for European companies in matters relating to market entry in Brazil and European-Brazilian economic relations on the other.
Since 2012, Ricardo Castanho and his team have supported over 400 companies entering the Brazilian market.
In Brazil, he has a broad network of contacts to companies, business associations and the government (both at state and federal level).
With over 100 years of tradition, the German-Brazilian Chamber of Industry and Commerce São Paulo (AHK São Paulo) offers a wide range of services for members and customers and is known for its excellent service and innovative projects.
