Koropi, Octοber 23rd, 2024: INTRACOM DEFENSE (IDE) participated in the “AUSA 2024” international Annual Meeting & Exposition, held in Washington DC, USA, between October 14-16. IDE exhibited as a member of the Hellenic Pavilion, which was organised by the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce under the auspices of the Hellenic MoD, with the support of the General Directorate for Defense Investments and Armaments (GDDIA), headed by the General Director of GDDIA, Major General Ioannis Bouras.
The presence of IDE in the AUSA was complemented with the establishment of Intracom Defense US, a wholly owned subsidiary company of IDE in the USA, focusing on IDE’s activities and interests in the US market and supporting FMS cases, for IDE’s products and solutions.
IDE had the opportunity to welcome at its booth the Ambassador of Greece to the US, HE Mrs. Ekaterini Nassika, accompanied by the Defense Attaché, Colonel Odysseas Papaevangelou, as well as Lieutenant General Andreas Koronakis, Deputy Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, and to brief them regarding the company’s international activities in Tactical Communications and Hybrid Electric Power Systems, as well as IDE’s interests in the region.
