Alkiviadis Thomas

Mr. Alkiviadis Thomas was born in Agios Vlasios/Igoumenitsa, Greece in 1961 and lives in Hamburg, Germany since 1970. He studied mechanical engineering at the University of Applied Science in Hamburg.

In his professional career, Alkiviadis Thomas has taken leadership roles in setting up technical departments, as well as, in business and location development. With a focus on the aerospace industry, he gained this experience in offshore and nearshore production management in engineering companies, before he was able to introduce his expertise to his own company.

In October 2010, he founded ALTHOM GmbH with its headquarters in Hamburg and since then he is acting as a CEO. ALTHOM is a high performing service provider in the field of engineering, technical publications and processes, methods & tools consulting. Through its subsidiary in Patras (Greece), founded in 2013, ALTHOM offers its customers access to cost-effective nearshore engineering capacities combined with German project management and quality assurance as a service.

Further, in 2013, Alkiviadis Thomas founded TPS Thomas Personnel Solution, based in Hamburg. A service provider specialized in personnel placement and personnel leasing. TPS offers qualified specialists for technical documentation, engineering and software development in multiple branches, such as aviation and renewables.

From February 2016 until April 2019 Alkiviadis Thomas was the first chairman of the HANSE-AEROSPACE E.V., an independent association of suppliers and service providers to the aerospace industry, connecting small and medium-sized companies in Germany and around the world. In addition, Alkiviadis Thomas was from October 2016 until May 2019 member of the board of Hamburg Aviation e.V.

In his spare time, Alkiviadis Thomas is engaged as first chairman (since 1995) in the culture and sports club VSK Blau-Weiss Ellas Hamburg from 1981 e.V.
