Curriculum Vitae
Dimitris Tsoukalas obtained the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering diploma from the National Technical University of Athens in 1979 and his PhD in 1983 from National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble (INPG), France in the field of semiconductor technology. In 1994 he obtained his Habilation degree from the same University. From 1985 to 2002 he was a research scientist at NCSR Demokritos. In 2002 he joined the National Technical University of Athens where he is now Professor and Director of the Department of Physics (2021-22). From 2002-2009 he was Director of 'Microsystems and Nanodevices' postgraduate Diploma of NTUA while during 2009-2012 he was Director of the Institute of Microelectronics, NCSR ‘Demokritos’. He has participated in numerous European and national projects in the area of microsystems and nanoelectronic devices.
He is a Technical Committee member in several International Conferences and member of Editorial boards of International journals in the above fields with a publication record of more than 200 scientific papers.
