Prof. Mr. Agis Papadopoulos new President of the German-Hellenic Chamber
Mr. Agis Papadopoulos (EYATH) was elected new President of the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, during the first meeting of the new Board of Directors of the organization that emerged from the elections of 24 June 2025.
The new Board of Directors was formed yesterday, in a body with Vice-Presidents Mr. Dimitrios Anagnostakis (BOEHRINGER INGELHEIM HELLAS S.A.), Theodoros Deligiannakis (DQS Hellas) and Andreas Spyrides (iTrust Digital Strategy) and Treasurer Ms. Lydia Garifallou (BASF HELLAS).
The new President of the Board of Directors, Mr. Agis Papadopoulos, on the occasion of assuming his duties, stated that he will contribute greatly to the Hellenic-German Chamber helping to further strengthen Greek-German economic relations. “In an era of intense geopolitical tensions, bilateral - transnational alliances within the borders of the European Union create strong dipoles to address international challenges. Greece and Germany, Germany and Greece, have been successfully allied in the economic sector for decades and the new administration of the Chamber will seek new avenues of bilateral synergies, continuing the particularly important work of the previous administration. Undoubtedly, the experience of the 101 years of the institution’s life will constitute a solid pillar of uninterrupted contribution to the economies, as well as to the societies, of the two countries.”
