Curriculum Vitae

Konstantinos Marangos was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1958 and graduated from Anatolia College, the American High School of Thessaloniki.

He completed his studies in Germany at TH Darmstadt as a Dipl. Mechanical Engineer and holds an MBA from INSEAD - Fontainebleau in France. He is fluent in English and German.

Konstantinos Marangos worked in Germany, for the companies «FAG Kugelfischer Georg Schaefer & Co» and «Carl Freudenberg» and in the USA for the company «FAG Bearings Corporation» Stamford-Connecticut.

In 1989 he was assigned the role of Managing Director for SkaMa E. SCAZIKIS – L. MARANGOS S.A. based in Athens in order to develop the company’s activities in Southern Greece. SkaMa is an import, trading company, operating in the Industrial Power Transmission sector, providing simultaneously a comprehensive range of Technical Services and in the Automotive Spare Parts sector with nationwide coverage.

Since 2002 Konstantinos Marangos is the CEO and President of the Board of Directors of SkaMa E. SCAZIKIS - L. MARANGOS S.A.

Konstantinos Marangos has served on the Board of ACCI (Athens Chamber of Commerce & Industry) from 2002 to 2005, as a board member of YPO (Young Presidents' Organization) Aegean Chapter from 2000 to 2004 and as a president from 2004 to 2005. He has also been a member of the Board of Ergotrak S.A. (member of the group S & B Industrial Minerals SA) from 2002 to 2008. Furthermore, he was a member of the Board of FING (Federation of Industries of Northern Greece, Thessaloniki) from 2009 to 2014.

Konstantinos Marangos was a member of the Board of SEV (Hellenic Federation of Enterprises) from 06/2012 and from 2016 until 02/2019 he was the Treasurer.

Since 07/2019 he is the President of AHK (German-Hellenic Chamber of Industry & Commerce, Athens). He previously served as Vice President from 06/2015 and as a member of the Board and Executive Committee from 2011.
