Robby Bourlas | Chairman & CEO, Sunlight

Robby Bourlas started his career in 1999 as Senior Analyst at First Manhattan Consulting Group in New York. In 2003, he moved to London and joined the easyGroup as Commercial Director. In 2006, he joined Olympia Group, an international investment group with a strong presence in 10 countries through subsidiaries in various sectors. At Olympia, Mr. Bourlas started at Public, a leading omnichannel retailer in Greece and Cyprus, where he stayed for 9 years in various positions up to the CEO role. In 2015, he assumed the position of CEO at Westnet, a technology distribution company within Olympia Group. Since 2018, he is the CEO of Olympia Group and a board member of Play Communications, the leading mobile operator in Poland and part of Olympia.  In 2019, Mr. Bourlas also assumed the role of CEO at Sunlight, a global leader in manufacturing of batteries for industrial and advanced technology applications. He holds a BSc and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University in New York and an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston.
