As of 1st May 2019, Mr. Michael Batz has assumed the role of Managing Director in MAN Hellas Truck & Bus S.A., succeeding Mr. Loukas Droukalis who completed his collaboration with the company. Mr. Batz has also assumed the position of Head of After Sales for the company and, ad interim, the role of Finance Director.
Regarding his role and the new duties, Mr. Batz commented: “It is with great pleasure that I am assuming the role of Managing Director for the Greek subsidiary of MAN Truck & Bus, realizing a new beginning for the company. My goal for the next years will be to continue providing the customers and partners of MAN Hellas with the best possible support but also to expand the company’s operations by taking full advantage of the opportunities present in the Greek market.”.
Mr. Batz has long experience in various international management functions of increasing importance in Sales & Marketing within the MAN Truck & Bus Group. He began his career at MAN in 2002 and has held several management positions in Munich and as Managing Director of MAN Truck & Bus Ukraine.
Mr. Batz holds an MBA in Economics. He is married and a father of three children.
