Susan King-Barnardo earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Science from the University of Port Elizabeth and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the University of South Africa. With two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, she began her career at Janssen Cilag before transitioning to Abbott Laboratories in South Africa and then joining Merck in 2011.

Currently, Susan serves as the Managing Director of Merck for Greece and Cyprus, having previously held the role of Managing Director for Merck in Slovenia and Croatia. She possesses a comprehensive understanding of various country markets, structures, and characteristics across Europe and Africa.

Susan emphasizes the importance of people development and fosters team success through open communication, creating a collaborative work environment based on trust.
