Δημήτρης Ματσούκης

Dimitrios Matsoukis is Managing Director of Veridos Matsoukis Security Printing S.A. , Athens (a Joint Venture between “Veridos GmbH” and “Matsoukis Graphic Arts S.A.”) specialized in the production of identification documents and any other forms of security printing documents.

After basic education in Greece he has graduated from the University of London with an BSc-Degree of Mechanical Engineer and the University of Birmingham with the MSc in Production Engineerning and Management.

From 1987 he has been involved in the Security Printing Industry as a Member of the family owned company “A. Matsoukis S.A.”, which from 1969 collaborated with Giesecke & Devrient GmbH - Munich, for the production of Securities and Identification documents. Dimitrios held the position of the Production Manager for 12 years.

In 2007 Giesecke & Devrient GmbH aqcuired a majority stake in the company “A. Matsoukis S.A.”, which was renamed to “Giesecke & Devrient Matsoukis S.A.” and Dimitrios Matsoukis became the General Manager. Dimitrios Matsoukis along with the Managing Director, Efthimios Matsoukis, managed to lead the company in great growth and success during the next years.

In 2015 Giesecke + Devrient GmbH created a Joint Venture with Bundesdruckerei GmbH and transferred their stake of the Greek company, which again was renamed from Giesecke + Devrient Matsoukis S.A. to “Veridos Matsoukis S.A.”. However the management team of the company remained on greek hands continuing the already know success path.

After Efthimios Matsoukis passed away in June 2020, Dimitrios Matsoukis gained the role of the Managing Director of “Veridos Matsoukis S.A.”.
