Frank is the Deputy Chief Executive at the Southern African – German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Southern Africa) and is heading the Department Business Development. He advises German and European companies on market entry strategies in the so-called South African Development Countries. In addition to that, advice on company registrations, legal and tax services as well as sector-specific researches fall under his portfolio as well.
The AHK Southern Africa has its headquarters in Johannesburg and branch offices in Cape Town, Durban, Maputo, Lusaka and Harare. More than 600 companies are organized within the Chamber that is in operation for over 65 years. The AHK Southern Africa has established various competence centers to provide the best expertise and knowledge to its clients, e.g. industry, energy, agriculture, training, water, environment and mining.
Frank was seconded to the German-Netherlands Chamber of Commerce in The Hague in 2011/2012. From 2014-2016, he worked at the head office of the German Chamber network abroad in Berlin. Frank studied for the Master of Laws degree at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, specialising in commercial law. He is admitted as an attorney at the bar in Berlin, Germany.
