Παναγιώτης Σαρρής

Takis SARRIS is a Mechanical Engineer with an MSc in Energy Production. He has 19 years of experience in the energy industry, 11 years in executive level positions developing and executing operational strategies.

In the early ‘00s, as Project Manager of TEMA Energy SA, he successfully implemented the first natural gas tri-generation CHP plant in Greece. 

In 2006 he joined the RES world as Project Manager of Suntechnics GmbH and Conergy GmbH, and in 2008 he joined juwi Hellas SA as CTO.

In 2012, as CTO of juwi Hellas, the company was declared by Fortune magazine as the 7^th fastest developing company in Greece.

In 2013, as CTO of juwi Hellas, he participated in the establishment of the company in the emerging Turkish RES market, where he successfully implemented one of the first PV plants that was ever connected in the Turkish grid.

Between 2019 & 2020, as MD of juwi Hellas, he has achieved to secure a tariff for a 204MW PV project, the biggest at the time PV project in South-Eastern Europe, and then lead the successful negotiations for the project acquisition by a leading Greek Utility.

Since December 2014 he is the President and Managing Director of juwi Hellas SA, developing the appropriate policies to meet juwi Group’s mission to be the top RES developer worldwide
